I threw in a piggyback comment that you will get a very real change in ride quality on the street, and that if it was a concern then it would be something to consider. Depending on each person's desires and preferences, it could be considered positive or negative, or irrelevant. I have made more than plain how I viewed upgrading all the simple stuff after doing it myself and experiencing the results. Many have given differing opinions of the results of the same work, and not coincidentally, most who gave me negative feedback DD'd their Z. You cant tell me there is no appreciable difference in ride quality over public roads between stock and the aforementioned upgrades, especially on 18" wheels. No one said "Dont listen to Kenny, your car will ride like shit! It will rattle out your teeth! Only do a little bit at a time!"

You say it is a change for the positive as do many others, but there are plenty who say differently, so do you or Kenny mind that someone brings it up at all?

Kenny loves to flame ppl so much that he just assumes that I am contradicting him since I did something other than "2nd!" him. Well waaahh....

Again....
While financial concerns are an obvious reason for "pussyfooting" while upgrading a suspension, on the other hand there are ppl whose arent very hardcore who may find the change intolerable, (for at least the 3rd time in this single thread) I am not one of them, but I have read many posts in the past of people switching back to OEM stuff because they claimed the change around town, over railroad crossings, over freeway seams, in construction zones, yadda yadda yadda, was intolerable to them. I realize this is a difficult concept for some of you TTnet trolls to grasp but supposedly there are other folks who have different tastes/priorities/preferences, and apparently they are amongst the 30-some-odd thousand registered members here.

So now.....aside from becoming the "epitome of retardation" where would the harm be in one just upgrading sways first, and seeing what one thought, if not satisfied, then springs/shocks or just springs,
IF
compromising the ride on the street would be an issue for one?

And secondly where is the harm in bringing the subject up at all in a public forum for Z32 owners of all shapes and sizes, desires, goals, styles etc etc etc,
IF
it is something that they consider even if YOU don't?
